Seven lessons. One deck. A deeper way of reading.

The Arcana Lessons are a small-group tarot series from the House of the Four, created to take you beyond memorising card meanings and into the strange, symbolic and intuitive language of tarot.

Across seven intimate lessons, we’ll explore the architecture of the deck, the stories held within its cards, and how those individual pieces come together to create a reading.

The series will explore:

The Majors — archetypes, symbolism and the great journey of the cards.

The Wands — fire, action, ambition, creativity and desire.

The Cups — emotion, intuition, relationships and the inner world.

The Swords — thought, communication, conflict, truth and the mind.

The Pentacles — earth, work, money, home, the body and the material world.

The Courts — Pages, Knights, Queens and Kings; people, personalities, energies and stages of becoming.

The Reading — conducting a reading, bringing everything together through spreads, storytelling, ethics and intuition. 

These aren’t lessons about simply learning what each card means. They’re an invitation to look closer and notice the symbols, follow the stories and develop your own relationship with the deck.
